Russell & Kimmy

Well Easter weekend is over and i think both Kim and I are glad, although she did have the much more busy weekend. Other than being glad the week is over there really isn’t much to say. Kimmy had choir Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday so she is a bit tired of singing. In other sad news I lost my first Risk 2120 game, should have gone and conqured the moon but nope had to be stupid and wage a land war in Asia. Kimmy has sorority tonight so maybe I can talk Leslie and Nick into a rematch. Other than that, I am at work, I am tired, and I think I am going to go away for awhile.

Edit: I almost forgot to mention it, actually i did forget to mention it. Jenny my sister came in from Dallas this weekend to visit the family. Her Birthday was 10 days ago, March 18th for those who can’ t count, and Kimmy painted a beautiful picture for her as seen above. So Happy Birthday sissy!

Been a busy weekend, i was going to try and update Friday but my good friend Corey came to town for spring break so we headed down to 6th Street and was out probably till about 3:00 am. Was going to update Saturday but i got a hair cut and spent the day playing GTA3: Vice City so that was fun. Probably need to get a hair cut a little more often than i do, mainly because the lady who cuts my hair refers to it as the three month special. And then spent Sunday visiting Kim’s grandma who lives in Taylor. So all in all it was a very busy weekend. As you can see from the photo Kimmy also had a busy weekend. She has applied to go back to SWT and get her interior design degree, she finished the painting that hangs over our bed, and started on her 3rd painting of the month which will be for the living room.

In other news i finally got my german books so my degree is only 14 lessons away.

Wow, look two postings in a row, ya’ll must be special. Am at work right now and its going slow so I am catching up on the news and goofing off on the internet. One of the things i saw was this and thought it was awsome. One of the nice benfits of work right now I am getting to come in at seven in the morning so I can usually leave by three thirty at the latest, and with all that spare time I am staying in the cooking grove. In fact last night I made meatloaf for the first time and found out that my sculpting skills are still a little green but the meat loaf was pretty good. Not sure what I am going to cook tonight and since its Lent that means no meat; thats going to make my little carnivore sad.

Well work is still going okay, I am currently occupying a desk in a different
department right now and its wonderful, less phone calls and less stressful situations. Job is still getting transitioned in November to another company but for right now its great. Only draw back is that i have to be at work at 7:00 am. Big bummer on that one, but since i can’t work overtime i get to leave the office at 3:00 pm which is super great. A pleasent side effect to getting off of work so early is that I have time to set a table and cook dinner. Haven’t been able to do that for a while and last night as you can see I set a wonderful table and surprised Kimmy. Quickest way to a woman’s heart is with flowers and food.

In other news Kimmy’s dad is recovering from minor surgery and doing great. He is having to take it easy for a week or so which I think drives him nuts and Kimmy gets to nurse him, which she seems to like to do. She is also still doing her play which ends this weekend, Saturday to be exact so if you still want to go see it I would go and check out the Sam Bass Theater website.
